Are You Mentally Prepared for a Disaster?

Doomsday Preppers and Preppers for various scenarios all know that having enough gear, food, supplies, water medical care and various other products to help you survive catastrophes is necessary in order to even have a chance to survive an unexpected calamity. Survival is key to protect your family and loved ones.

Having enough food, water and supplies is a great start, but what happens if your best plans fail? What happens if all of your supplies are destroyed or are taken by a mob?  What will you do? Are you ready for the worst of the worst?  What happens if you cannot get to your hidden stashes or your bugout location? Have you ever faced life having only what you can carry as your only means of survival?

There are lots of questions and only one answer. It is all about your attitude when facing any kind of crises no matter how bleak things might seem.

So if you were to find yourself in the midst of an economic crisis, natural disaster, etc. your attitude and mental fortitude will help you get through it.

If you have studied basic survival skills then you have a chance, even the most basic things like being able to find food water shelter and protection can be accomplished if you think things through, devise a plan and get to a safe location or even to some of your hidden supplies if you have done that in advance.

Disaster could be right around the corner for any of us: crime, tornados, floods, earthquakes and the list goes on and on, but when we choose not to get caught up in the emotions and keep our wits about us, we can do what is needed to take care of ourselves and our families.

All Preppers should endeavor in taking some basic survival skills and invest in some books that teach survival. It would also bode well for you to learn from survivalist experts in your area before something does happen. When the SHTF, you will be ready in knowledge and mental fortitude? So that if your best laid plans go astray you will be able to regroup and come up with a new plan.
