Do You Have the Physical Endurance To Survive?
Most preppers have their bug out bags, guns, storable food, and bunkers prepped and ready but they are forgetting one of the most important things that any prepper needs.
The physical endurance to survive.
Most hard core preppers already have a specific location or plan in place to hunker down in that is stocked with supplies. But what if you can’t get to that place? In the event of a natural disaster, civil unrest or a financial collapse you will more then likely be without the creature comforts you are used to. Life is full of unexpected road blocks and u-turns and you have to plan for the unthinkable also.
Being overweight and out of shape will make it a lot harder for you to survive. Preppers need to be prepared for any and every situation and being physically fit should be on your top ten list of things you will do to get prepared.
Now I’m not saying that you have to have six pack abs or spend hours in the gym in order to be considered in shape. If you have ever watched the television reality show Survivor it is always the really muscular body builder types that are crushed in endurance and physical challenges. The extra bulk and muscles seemed to be a liability rather than an asset. Just get that extra 30, 50 or 100+ pounds off your body.
Your goal should be to get to a normal body weight. So that you are able to carry your bug out bag and supplies if you need to get mobile. You may have to walk long distances so get off the couch or away from the computer for at least 30 minutes a day and start taking daily walks.
Give yourself every advantage to survive in an extreme situation.
